How do you pronounce llwnt?
And....I could really use some new cuss words that do not sound like cuss words but if I uttered them here *points to across the pond* then, I could quietly scream them out let those words flow and NO one would be the wiser.

Pro Well in Welsh LL is pronounced by putting your tongue in the L position and sort of hissing through the L. The W is sort of as in 'look'.
However, although I don't claim to be anywhere near fluent in Welsh, I don't know this word. The equivalent word I would use would be corris or cont.
Is llwnt a real Welsh word or just a corruption of the English?

I was told this weekend that there was a movement in the 70s called " reclaiming the cunt "- people tired of this word being used as a swear word.
I also remember a sketch that Monty Python did about the man who would say " b" instead of" C"
bat for cat .... etc and he said silly bunt !
the prof and I thought this was funny, so we would write it on postcards even .

I'd never come across 'llwnt' before - it looks Welsh.
I always use 'barstool' for ' b**tard' and say the rain is persisting it down, for 'p*ssing' it down.

Pro Interesting alternatives here for cuss words. I don't know the first thing about pronouncing that word. One of my books has some pronunciations in it for the Welsh gods but that's as much as I know.

Pro Warning: do not pronounce LL as CL in front of the Welsh. They do not appreciate it.
The 'll' sound is an acquired skill but one of the few that I can claim to have 
I have read through this blog and I find it funny that people are scared to say the"C" word. If you go to a town in North Wales called "Caernarfon." They use this word all of the time. They call people cont as we would say Hi mate. I always think that swear words are only swear words because of the emphasis that we put behind the word when we say them. How many times have you called anyone a Bitch or a Bastard in a playful manner? You probably relise that it didn't quite have the same effect then. So what consditutes as a swear word?
The word llwnt I am not familiar with. Bur corris is the same as the "C" word, in Welsh "Cont." But if you want to pronounce the "LL" then I would suggest that you do as the gentleman suggested earlier. Place your tongue in the "L" position and his hiss gently through the "L." However I would suggest you use a biro/pen. Place the biro/pen in the horizontal position left to right in your mouth. Now bite down and try to pronounce the word. You will feel silly at first but trust me it works. Have fun.
